What we collect, why, who it goes to and how long we keep it.
Who we are
The data controller for this website and the enquiries made through it is S&K Group Holdings Ltd (company number 16703925), Unit 1 Hembs Crescent, Great Barr, Birmingham B43 5DG, the holding company of the S&K Group. S&K Property Investments and Improvement Ltd (company number 16932889), the group company that trades as External Wall Insulation and receives your enquiry, is the controller for quotes, contracts and job records once you ask us to quote or book work.

We don't sell your details or pass them to other companies to market to you. Work is carried out by S&K Group companies and the trades who work under us on your job; they receive only what they need to do the work. Our service providers process data on our behalf: Netlify (website hosting), Web3Forms (form delivery), our email forwarding and mailbox providers (including ImprovMX for forwarding), Tawk.to (live chat) and Meta (WhatsApp, if you message us there).
How long we keep it
Enquiries and chats that don't lead to work: 24 months. Customer, contract and job records: 7 years after the job, for tax and guarantee purposes.
Your rights
You can ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct or delete it, object to or restrict how we use it, ask for data you gave us in a portable format, and withdraw consent at any time (use Cookie settings in the footer). Contact info@external-wall-insulation.co.uk. If you're unhappy with how we handle your data you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk).
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or approved contract terms.
