What is and isn't included
- Per m² rates: the insulation system and finish with starter tracks, beads, sill extensions, refitting downpipes and fittings, building control and clear-up.
- Whole-house prices: all of that plus standard scaffolding and set-up for the house.
- Priced at survey: roofline extensions, moving gas or electric meters, footpath licences, wall repairs, removing old render, unusual access.
- VAT: installing insulation in a home is zero-rated until 31 March 2027, then 5%; commercial work is standard-rated at 20%.
- Payment: 50% deposit on acceptance, 40% on the first day of installation, 10% on satisfactory completion.
